#35 Homicide Victim Memorial at the State Capital
18th Ave. & Washington, Phoenix

Located on the front lawn of the Arizona State Capital Museum is a memorial dedicated to 30 individuals who lost their lives to homicide. The memorial serves two purposes. The first, to remember those who lose their lives to homicide and second to create public awareness for violence.

Adjacent to the tree is the domestic violence memorial bench. This is a place to rest and remember those whose lives have been altered by domestic violence. For as long as there is memory, they will live on in our hearts.
